What Is Spiritual Warfare?

If ever there was a sacred cow subject about to become tipsy it’s this one. For any who have ever been involved with any of the Charismatic venues or of its teaching’s, will at least inwardly acknowledge the disconcerting milieu it has become.
In my continued reading of my good friend Bill Landon’s book, Up From The Ashes, he has a chapter dealing with spiritual warfare, and some of his thoughts were so freeing to drink in.

What Jesus came to proclaim was a truth that was radical and important. Christ is the summation of the Father’s plan for His creation-both for the Jews and for the followers of Christ. Due to the importance of Christ’s work it was necessary for Him to be validated. The Father did this through the empowering of Christ to work miracles. We should never misunderstand the healings and exorcisms of Jesus as a special example of spiritual warfare for us to emulate. The Father gives each of us a testimony that comes out through our living. This message of our living may be powerful and dynamic or quiet and subtle. The outward manifestation of this testimony is not important. What is important is that we are true to the testimony both in its content and in the method of its delivery. The people who are truly seeking the Father will understand the living testimony regardless of the particular nature of its manifestation. The people are living in opposition to God will not understand the living testimony in our lives no matter how powerful or miraculous it is.
Remember, the religious leaders of Jesus’ time saw His miracles and concluded that He was demon possessed: “But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “This man casts out demons only by Beelzebul the ruler of the demons.”(Matthew 12:24)
So if spiritual warfare is not binding and loosing and demon expulsion then what is it? I mentioned earlier that Jesus engaged in spiritual warfare. That being said it is now important to ask: What was it in Jesus’ life that represented the essence of spiritual warfare?

To be continued….

Waking Up

Inception | Leonardo DiCaprio | ReelzChannel Spotlight | Movie Trailer

In many similar ways the movie Inception has touched upon things within me as the movie The Matrix did and continues to do.
For a summary of the move Inception, you can read it here.

A premise I have been working on after watching Inception a couple of times is in my opinion something that was done to humanity beginning in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve. These scriptures in particular stand out me pointing out as it were a spiritual abortion taking place while hypnotizing this first couple.
Many years after this Paul alluded to (imo) this reality of ‘true-lies’ this couple ingested; speaking to a group of believers, “Who has bewitched (charmed) you, caused you to move away from the truth of Christ being your only true source of life?”

In the move Inception, the extraction and inception that took place was done within the soul more specifically within their mind by inducing them into a dream state of unconsciousness.
What I see happening in our re-birthing was something similar but vastly different in this respect, what the Lord did in joining us to Himself thereby making us one with him freed us from the dream (Matrix) world that we were all plunged into through man, Adam and Eve choosing for us. As in Inception, “What is the most resilient parasite? A bacteria? A virus? An intestinal worm? An idea. Resilient, highly contagious. Once an idea has taken hold of the brain it's almost impossible to eradicate. An idea that is fully formed, fully understood. That sticks, right in there somewhere (pointing to his head). The seed planted in the mind will bring forth an idea that will ultimately totally define the person.

We are encouraged by the spirit of God to be transformed by the renewing of our mind; to be renewed in the spirit of our mind, which is a life time journey and unfolding process.
If there really isn’t a greater reality founded and rooted into the eternal love of God the Father for us and in us by our union, than its merely pissing in the wind for any of us.
This ongoing transformation is going to set into motion seismic shits of unparalleled proportions, and not understanding the source of our assaults which try to keep us from knowing the truth of our secret source of power and freedom in Christ will only perpetuate the illusionary dream world we live in.

I’m including the following thoughts from T.A. Sparks that flow seamlessly with what I am seeing in the heightened awareness of discerning between what is true and what isn’t. I am only including part of it with the rest to follow.

Rich

The place of union is "the inner man of the heart," to use the New Testament phrase. Paul was fond of using that phrase: "...our inward man is renewed day by day," "...that He would grant you... that ye may be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inward man" (Eph. 3:16; A.S.V.). What is the inward man? It is our spirit, the innermost place of our being. That is the seat of union. Union is not first of all physical in character. That needs no saying. Union between us and God is not in its genesis of a mental kind, neither is it of an emotional kind. Union between us and the Lord is not in the realm of our soul at all in the first instance. It is in our spirit. It is a thing which is deeper than our soul; that is, deeper than our reason, deeper than the powers of our natural mind either to analyze or understand. It is deeper than our emotions, deeper than our feelings. The fact of union with the Lord, when it is established, abides when all our feelings contradict it, and when all our power of reasoning is completely confounded. When in the realm of the reason and in the realm of the feelings there seems to be greatest evidence that the union does not exist, it remains.

It is an important thing for the Lord's people to get that well settled, that union between us and the Lord has nothing whatever to do with our feelings nor our reasoning. If we sit down at times and allow our reasonings to carry us on, we shall conclude that the union does not exist, because there is so much which argues strongly and positively against any such union. If we allow our feelings, or our lack of feelings, to be the criterion, we shall give it all up and declare the whole thing to be a myth. From time to time feelings are altogether against the fact of union with the Lord. It makes no difference; the union is there if it has been brought about. People who take the position that they must feel it or else they will not believe, are going to have a bad time. The same applies to people who demand that they shall be able to follow this thing through with the completest mental argument.

The Naturalness of Living Supernaturally

These scriptures precede the following thoughts, they are here in 2 Kings 2:3, 5, 7, 14, 15-16; 4:38-41; 6:1-7, and Romans 8:20-25, 1-2, 6.

Its interesting how many of us can see so clearly one moment (day) and the next, seemingly forget any and all that we were so certain of before.
So many of my (our) perceptions are founded upon our natural perception of reality, perhaps a “reality” based solely upon the natural senses, and as God says, the natural man detests rejects that which is spiritual, or, he cannot receive that which would open up before him a whole new reality of endless possibilities.

I so appreciate the following thoughts here from T.A. Sparks, I trust you will like wise be richly encouraged.

Rich

We pass from Romans to Corinthians: "Now the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged." That is death: and when we try to handle, analyze, pierce through heavenly and spiritual things with these minds of ours, this natural reasoning, we come to a deadlock, we come to an impasse, and we move in a realm of spiritual death.

These very men had seen what happened. They saw Jordan cleft; they had knowledge of the risen and ascended Lord, but they were not taking their own position in an experimental way upon it. They wanted to have a certain confirmation in the realm of sense. Oh! how the natural man longs to get confirmation through his senses. He longs to see something, feel something, to have evidences. Beloved, one of the marks of resurrection is that so often the whole thing goes on without any evidences in the realm of our senses. Do you think that the people who live in the power of His resurrection are always conscious of being simply overflowing with Divine life? Very often, like Paul, they feel as dead as anything can be in themselves, and yet the miracle is that there is that which is not of themselves enabling them unto the work, carrying them on. They are conscious of weakness, emptiness, dependence, and yet there is something of God which carries them on. If they were to stand still and say: "I am not going on any longer until I know in every part of my being, and in every factor of my life, the overflowing of His resurrection," they would not go on. The Lord does not meet us on that ground at all. These men showed immaturity by wanting evidences in the realm of the senses. Elisha shows how utterly he represents the principle of resurrection life by standing against all that is merely sentient. The flesh must have its proofs, and its evidences along its own line, but the spirit sees through and acts in another realm: "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit" (John 3:6).

So these sons of the prophets sought to take hold of resurrection life and draw it down to the limitations of man's doubts. If you and I do that, we shall fall out of the realm of that ministry and testimony to which the Lord calls us. It is a very great temptation all the way along to want evidences of the spiritual in the realm of our feelings and of our natural knowledge, instead of going on and knowing quite well that the going on is not by our own power; that it is impossible so far as we are concerned, and yet we are going on by reason of Him Who is our life.

Looked at naturally, all those who have known and lived on the principle of the risen life of the Lord Jesus would appear a very poor lot indeed. If you could gather all the men and the women of this New Testament dispensation who have lived wholly upon that principle of life triumphant over death, and you looked at them as men look at people, you would say: "That is a poor crowd." Take Paul! Some people would get a big surprise if they could see Paul as he was. We have all the romance of nearly two thousand years of the effect of Paul's ministry. We have all this volume of literature on Paul, his life, and letters, and work. If Paul were able to meet us as he was then, and we had no spiritual perception, but simply saw him as a man, we should say: "Is this the man who created all this literature, and caused all this talk, who has stirred the world to its very depths for nearly two thousand years? I do not see anything in him!" But there is a deeper side. So you ask him: "Paul, did you know all the way through your life, when you were in this great work, such resurrection power that you never had an ache or a pain, and never felt tired, and never knew what it was to be depressed, to feel fears, to be anxious?" He would answer: "I knew them all as few men have known them, fightings without and fears within. I knew what depression was; I knew what it was to be tempted to doubt; I knew what it was to go through dark patches where ultimate questions arose; I knew what it was to despair of life." We may take it that there were many, many occasions when Paul was not conscious pre-eminently of the power of His resurrection, and yet he was living on it, and that accounted for everything.

That which is real and that of which we are conscious may be two different things. All that we know at times is that we go on in spite of ourselves. What is it that carries us on? It is that other "something" that is deeper than thought, deeper than understanding, deeper than feeling; it is the Lord going on in us.

He is More Than Meets the Eye

Is God willy-nilly indiscriminately at random, choosing to protect some and others, well, good luck?

Maybe we need a much broader understanding of His protection, perhaps a broader unearthing of most that we have codified and fossilized into lifeless and meaningless dribble!
Perhaps it was the Father’s protection in the life of his son that was there making sure nothing happened to him, making it possible for Jesus to fully make it to the cross, even intervening in the Garden where it says he sweated great drops of blood. God sent sustaining angels to under gird him so that he might successfully by grace taste death for us all?

I wonder how much definition Father is establishing in our lives as we go hopelessly along believing the lies that somehow His hand of protection is removed from our lives because of our poor performance?

I so appreciate what Darin Hufford says here from his book, The Misunderstood God, “God’s protection is a Father’s promise to always hold us up in the midst of all circumstances no matter how terrible. Love bears up under anything! It is the support beam that will never give way, even in the midst of unimaginable pressure. The pressures and pains of life are not evidence of a lack of protection; they are the things that prove God’s protection.”

"Understated that there is no escape from adversity and hardship as long as we live in this world. Bad things happen not only to bad people but to all people. The good news is, God will never cease to support and grow our hearts regardless of what is thrown at the flesh. God will never override the heart to save the flesh. Everything He does is for the heart because that’s the part of you that lasts forever. Love always thinks this way. It’s all about the heart.”

Somehow I find this section of scripture most fitting in my musings…”I could go on and on, but I've run out of time. There are so many more— Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, the prophets....Through acts of faith, they toppled kingdoms, made justice work, took the promises for themselves. They were protected from lions, fires, and sword thrusts, turned disadvantage to advantage, won battles, routed alien armies. Women received their loved ones back from the dead. There were those who, under torture, refused to give in and go free, preferring something better: resurrection. Others braved abuse and whips, and, yes, chains and dungeons. We have stories of those who were stoned, sawed in two, murdered in cold blood; stories of vagrants wandering the earth in animal skins, homeless, friendless, powerless—the world didn't deserve them!—making their way as best they could on the cruel edges of the world.
Not one of these people, even though their lives of faith were exemplary, got their hands on what was promised. God had a better plan for us: that their faith and our faith would come together to make one completed whole, their lives of faith not complete apart from ours.

United with Christ or Hooked Up to An I.V.

If the man Christ Jesus is not our personal mediator between God the Father and ourselves, then because there are no vacuums, there is going to be someone else a surrogate and substitute which will leave us with but a form of godliness lacking any and all power.
The Father has covered all the bases, he has left nothing to chance, those who have ears to hear and eyes to see will not live vicariously from the regurgitated revelation others received, they will in fact thrive and flourish as a result of feeding and feasting upon the hidden manna of Christ in them, the hope of Glory!

I love when Jesus asked those (disciples) who followed him “Who do you say that I am,” the responses were varied and mixed, then Jesus asked, “Who do you say that I am,” to which Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of God.”
Jesus acknowledged that this was not a result of any human ingenuity, but the direct initiation of the Father’s doing.
It is upon this foundation alone that only He can lay the building and establishing of His church will be built.

I am witnessing so many that are trying to find a short cut of knowing Him personally, and believe me there are so many that have set themselves up as a substitute for the man Christ Jesus in the lives of those He alone has fathered.
Many have fled what has been coined as “the institutional church” but in my opinion I see many of those who were and are part of that exodus now hooked up to an IV (intravenous), having an appearance of life but perhaps are simply once again being deluded into having but an facsimile of life derived from what the ‘grace teachers’ are laying out for their nutriment.

I love the graphic illustration in the book of Acts where a certain Jew was trying to exorcise a demon from a person, the demon in that person manifested it self by saying, “Jesus I know, Paul I know but who the hell are you.”
There are NO shortcuts to know Him and as our brother Peter said, “Continue to grow in the grace and the true knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.”

I want to include a quote from something I read today that beautifully stretches this out even further. This was taken from A Wilderness Voice (Michael Clark & George Davis) “All Things New."

We are comfortable with our old wineskins because it gives us the feeling that we are in control. Where men are in control, God is not! He is forced to leave those old wineskins behind and find new ones to pour the new thing He is doing into. God always leaves old wineskins to their religious rigidity and chooses new ones for His new wine. Men prefer the old wine over the new because it is no longer alive and doesn't stretch their religious wineskins. As they cling to their traditions, they make what God is currently saying to them of no effect, and doom themselves to become spiritually extinct. Men call this the "Post Christian Era" for a reason. Christianity has ceased to be relevant with His relevancy. God continues to reach out to a dying world so we have a choice to make. We can either move on in the flow of His Spirit or cling to our dead and "safe" traditions and institutions.
Jesus told Nicodemus that those who are of the Spirit of God are like the wind with no man knowing from where it comes or where it is going. The wind is symbolic of the Spirit of God and it by nature refuses to be confined by the structures built by men. One dear brother put it, "The opposite of the wind is bricks!" We either move with the wind or are left behind. God will move on and we will be left standing there like that old Pharisee saying, "How can these things be?"
Paul wrote,
Therefore from now on know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet from now on know we him no more. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2 Corinthians 5:16-17 KJ2000, emphasis added)
The nature of Christ's continued working in us is to make all things new within. The wine is always stretching our wineskin. As He does, even our ideas of who He is are no longer static because we cease to know Him after the flesh. After being confronted by the living God at the end of his trial, Job cried out, "I have heard of you by the hearing of the ear: but now my eye sees you. Therefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes" (Job 42:5-6 KJ2000). We all should abhor the religious self in us that has been limited to the hearing of men as opposed to hearing the Spirit. When Saul of Tarsus (later known as Paul) had his first encounter with the living Christ, he was knocked to the ground and blinded. The first words out of his mouth should be our continuing prayer: "Who are you Lord?" God delights to manifest Himself to those who want to see Him as He is. "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God."
Our old things pass away as the Spirit draws us deeper into His wondrous, uncontainable truth that He prepared for us from the foundations of the world. Life is no longer static and dead. Instead we are alive with a continuing fresh view of the greatness of our God and His Christ. Yes, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him. But God has revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God" (1 Corinthians 2:9-10 KJ2000).

An Extended Conversation

Part 4

PLease read part 1 here, part 2 here, and part 3 here.

Rich

Rich: that is the rocket fuel that causes us to dance on laughter silvered wings
Rich: Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long delirious, burning blue,
I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or even eagle flew -
And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod
The high untresspassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand and touched the face of God.
yahdavea: And the alternative is living in boxes... day by day seeing which ones fit and which ones don't... and living by circumstances and feelings
Rich: that poem is a rush of his pleasure in me Bro
Rich: caged and yet we were made to live free in the wild, yes
yahdavea: love that.... who wrote that... cant recall
Rich: a young violet killed in the war, famous poem
Rich: Bro there R some thoughts burning within me that I am going to try and get out today touching on some of our sharing here this morning
yahdavea: ok great
Rich: I/we need to see a so much bigger picture of Him, and what you see and have to say along with us all is the picture turning into so much more than we have yet seen in the religion of Christianity
yahdavea: right... the latter is but a man-mad box of Jesus
Rich: there R word and actions you will make that R joined to His heart, that will become the key to unlock the cages of many in your and my life time bro
Rich: yes
yahdavea: we can count on it bro
yahdavea: This is bigger than anything we can imagine
yahdavea: and we have quite the imaginations
Rich: the key is Him in us as us, and as that addresses undresses us from our lies of fear He will be seen so clearly
Rich: indeed we have
yahdavea: and yet, in a way, I pray that it all continue in the quiet hush of life... quiet intrusions, subtle invasions...
yahdavea: into the lives of others. So that when they look at us, they only see Jesus
Rich: YES, I so agree Bro, it sickens me the talk of this being another movement
yahdavea: And we just go flying along
yahdavea: right ugh
yahdavea: PLEASE folks... don't go there
Rich: Bro i want to share this with you, I see so much of man trying to bag and tag what is an overflow, spill over of Him making Himself known to and in His sons.
yahdavea: so much happening out there that is good... a growing desire to turn from religion to His Real Life living in us as us
yahdavea: but there appears to be those that still want to take the helm
yahdavea: Well that's a very real potential bro
yahdavea: sadly
yahdavea: time will tell
yahdavea: Give us a king like everyone else
Rich: we just do not apart from Him see our hidden complete depravity in our flesh
Rich: and that is what Jesus exposed in the young rich rulers life, not to condemn, but for escape-freedom
Rich: You R of your father the devil...wasn't a slam dunk on anyone, it was Jesus the only one able to make known to them/us who it is working in and through the depravity in us
Rich: they turned it around against Him, they chose death instead of Life
yahdavea: Right, and that Truth will free some and harden the hearts of others.
yahdavea: yes
Rich: sadly yes
Rich: Aslan in us as us is no pussy cat...meow
Rich: He has come to destroy in us what is keeping us bound
Rich: but when he exposes that, look out
Rich: we go back to our cages or enter into real living
Rich: and no one needs a grace movement tag on them, they will know we R his by our love not our tags
Rich: or a grace movement tag
Rich: its life, his, his love that draws us into a greater fullness, not our tags
yahdavea: Oooh ya
Rich: like dat?
Rich: well there is an ocean more of it bro
yahdavea: yeah, very good there
Rich: not trying to B cute or smart ass but I call it as I am slowly seeing it!
Rich: forget the God who is so badly misunderstood, what about Him being misunderstood in us as us?
yahdavea: right
Rich: and how could that be when we're so busy inventing new tags for what He is doing in His church which is His body????
yahdavea: we can spend so much time pointing out to others "what's wrong with this picture"
Rich: YES, rather than saying, if you've seen me you've seen Papa
yahdavea: right... so the response is, "we need a new, improved box" instead of , "We want to know this Jesus SO much"
yahdavea: Oh the endless regurgitating of shit
Rich: and rather than simply allowing His spirit to fully form Christ in us we slowly get caught up in another religion
yahdavea: right
Rich: well meaning sincere men will think it is God having them do and say whatever to help God out in what is coming to the surface in this heart 2 heart revolution taking place
Rich: once again sadly become but surrogate foster fathers instead of HIM
yahdavea: but maybe it's more the spirit if Simon the sorcerer just looking for some Jesus power
Rich: but that depravity in those men doing such things is no diff than the depravity in those who choose to let it happen all over again
Rich: very much more, great point bro
Rich: i love that insight
yahdavea: Not saying that's the case with all certainly... but we can see how simply, if it isn't Him we're looking unto it will be ourselves and others
Rich: right, but the root source of that spirit is in us all within the depravity that the angel of darkness loves to work out of
Rich: and as always totally unbeknownst to any of us until Jesus opens his big mouth
yahdavea: yes ... in us all
Rich: and what is hidden in darkness in our flesh is exposed, why to shame, NO, for freedom
yahdavea: right
yahdavea: owning it is half the battle eh
yahdavea: the rest is the Lord's
Rich: I refuse to walk away from this reality He is pointing out to me and his church
Rich: and I am convinced this is why Paul prayed in earnest for the church to have revelation of the mystery
Rich: and with the revelation of it no longer being I that lives but Christ, also comes the knowing of something else, Satin in our flesh hidden in the unseen depravity in us all
Rich: but many do not yet see, or they have refused to believe that what He is saying is in fact the truth
Rich: not just about the tasty good news of it no longer being I, but Christ, but also the hidden source of leaven in us all
Rich: that I do not hear Joe or Tom (fictitious names) or any others warming up to in their grace deliveries, and that is not me slamming them or his body!
yahdavea: no, that's true
Rich: warming up to the full message of the wrath of His grace, the goodness and the severity of our loving God
Rich: none see apart from the kindness and goodness of his grace
yahdavea: I don't think it's a denial of the devil's activity in us/thru us do you?
Rich: ??
yahdavea: From Joe or Tom’s point of view
Rich: his activity is only possible if in fact he is there in our flesh
yahdavea: not sure what I'm asking
Rich: ok, no prob, all I know is that I do not see them yet seeing this very necessary truth that is joined to the message of freedom in his love for us
Rich: I se them as so many at best dancing all around this subject and rightly so, as it is only knowable through the same spirit that brings any revelation to any of us
Rich: I pray for my siblings all the time
Rich: to see as Paul prayed 4 us all
Rich: Hope I haven't done to much damage to your thinking
yahdavea: ha
yahdavea: no.. Just messing with it mightily
yahdavea: For me to understand it all, all that your sharing regarding Satan in our flesh...
yahdavea: I have to see a picture
yahdavea: So I see in these guys, in me, in you at times
yahdavea: The "ME" wanting to come forward
yahdavea: and Jesus taking a bow and heading for a seat in the back.
yahdavea: So I will get on my freedom in Jesus soapbox and shout to the masses how to be free
yahdavea: and oh how I can look so good and not even realized how much I enjoy looking good
yahdavea: But what is missing
yahdavea: Is the humanity, the realness, the admitted weaknesses
yahdavea: The utter depravity of me without JESUS
Rich: YES
yahdavea: So I think that's what I see as to a picture of this Satan in our flesh
yahdavea: whew... dat was a lot of typing so I'm glad I made some sense.
Rich: and out of that depravity so much poison has been injected into and ingested in body by well meaning sincere folks
Rich: making real good sense Bro, yes
yahdavea: So it can become just another self-help program that we believe is endorsed by Jesus
yahdavea: I don’t know... maybe that is taking it to an extreme here
Rich: without revelation there is NO way any of us can bear the truth od what he longs to make real to and in us re: this full subject matter
Rich: self-help is that born out of our depravity all masked in Christian lingo
yahdavea: yeah
yahdavea: right
Rich: and those doing what they do in this area do not see it come from a hidden source the leaven in them
Rich: thats why he did and still had such GREAT compassion for the blind leading the blind
yahdavea: yes
yahdavea: Knowing the reality of what is in the heart
Rich: YES
yahdavea: For He was tested in all ways and familiar with the details
Rich: YES
yahdavea: Thinking about those thorns in of the flesh
yahdavea: and how we should embrace them
Rich: yes
yahdavea: They are graceful reminders of our weakness and need for Him
Rich: yes
yahdavea: So when Jesus told Paul, My grace is sufficient... He is saying I AM SUFFICIENT
yahdavea: See...
yahdavea: I used to separate Jesus from Grace
Rich: YES
yahdavea: Jesus from Love
Rich: me 3
Rich: as we all do bro
yahdavea: Jesus from all those "attributes"
yahdavea: And now I see every GOOD thing being the very substance of HIM
Rich: there is a short circuit happening in us all re: words and what we have thought they meant
Rich: YES
yahdavea: and to separate those "things" from Him is creating a program of goodness
Rich: He doesn't give us something; it is a Him in us
Rich: YES!!!!!!
Rich: Bingo
Rich:
Rich:
yahdavea: AMEN
Rich: that’s why Margi hates with a passion the "virtues programme" being the in thing within teaching her kids
Rich: virtue being something we can strive 4, try to attain apart from the source of Him in usd as us
Rich: and that format is changed according to each and every setting through out the earth
Rich: we can have Christ in us and yet live as a moralist or whatever, living apart of Him as our only Life
Rich: and sadly this is what most of the world as seen instead of Him in us as us
Rich: and most believers no diff
Rich:
yahdavea: right
yahdavea: and we can accept it in the public arena... "they know not what they do"
yahdavea: But on even the "free range” believers
Rich: but #1 Jesus is at the right hand of our Father praying 4 His church to see, and those prayers were echoed through our bro Paul and many done through time up to today!!
yahdavea: where there is more a desire to find and get aboard the next big movement
Rich: YES sadly
yahdavea: amen
yahdavea: And to give credit where it is due...
yahdavea: Wayne, Brad, and Darin do speak passionately about following His voice
Rich: YES
yahdavea: and encouraging others to seek and know Him
Rich: indeed
Rich: and that is the message we R hearing, but it is a marriage, it takes two
yahdavea: And in reality there is so much that we dont know... we see in part... and thankfully we have dif parts to share
Rich: and the other half or part to say is knowing of the reality of who is in and behind Sin in us as well
yahdavea: what is lacking with one...another comes along and shares what he sees... and on and on and on
yahdavea: right
Rich: the whole body isn’t a giant eye
yahdavea: maybe it is that reality of the Father of Lies that needs to be thrown into the Light more and more
yahdavea: right
Rich: but He does want us all to See
yahdavea: eye eye
Rich: YES
yahdavea: yes
yahdavea: and maybe, we do that through our throwing ourselves out in the open... rejoicing publicly in our weaknesses.... thereby defusing the power of the enemy.
Rich: YES i so agree
Rich: when we turn to Christ from within, Satan in our flesh is then buffeted
Rich: not us
Rich: Paul wasn't fulfilled because folks got what he was sharing, it was His pleasure for and in Paul that caused him to say, woe is me if I do not speak of Him to others
yahdavea: yes
Rich: we simply report the good news
yahdavea: The wrath of God is poured out not on us, but on the evil one
Rich: YES
yahdavea: That's it... so we don't have to despair over clever words and ideas
Rich: and that is what he wants to do in exposing what is in our flesh yet
Rich: hahaha
Rich: U bet
Rich: the power isn't in our words, but in the Word, and if all we know is words, then why do we stand amazed at out little life we see in most believers
yahdavea: ha
Rich: so once again men are trying to pump it up as a substitute for Knowing The Word instead of some new cool grace lingo
yahdavea: yes
yahdavea: boy, I can see the problem... with those who used to be paid preacher professionals
Rich: we all have thought being saved was a one time event, i was saved in 1972~ha!
yahdavea: and who now begin to make a "living" from writing and speaking about their new freedom
Rich: it is being constantly saved
yahdavea: right
Rich: Jesus is Satan out is the math most work with
yahdavea: The trap is always there to snare
Rich: YES
Rich: Satan's rule-power over us is broken 4ever, but he is still there in our flesh wooing, trying to groom us all over again
Rich: and without this knowing of this, we so easily become charmed and bewitched
yahdavea: yes for sure
Rich: ergo the sad history of religion
yahdavea: substitutions abound
yahdavea: right
Rich: but the biggest one is resident in our flesh
yahdavea: we want a king like everybody else. Don't give me Jesus, whom I can't see but rather someone I can.
Rich: there R whole theologies refuting what i am trying to say here bro re: Sin/Satin in our flesh as another nature, even our dear Bro Dan stone and many, many others
yahdavea: Bro...Going to have to head off here.... running out of battery power and have to head home too
Rich: ok mon
Rich: fo sure, been so good, you have greatly provoked me top love and good works
Rich: to
Rich:
yahdavea: this Satan in our flesh.. I hardly begin to understand it all but I want to simply know the freeing Truth
Rich: He is in U as your grace to live free today
yahdavea: it has been good, Brother
yahdavea: likewise

Human Consent

Without revelation from our loving Father regarding the design of our human vessel, body soul and spirit, that being the origin describing the first Adam, later to have that order reversed according to Paul describing the second Adam Christ Jesus, spirit, soul and body, there is in my opinion great distress throughout the body of Christ. Be that as it may, and even though it has profound significance to what I want to share here, I know his spirit will make known to each of us what is needed.

Eve, as in Adam and especially Eve from the Garden, have taken a bad rap and although she was the one deceived, there were two of them making that same choice, to try and be like God. Through the woman and man, consenting to this treasonous act, sin brought death to us all.
The other day I stumbled upon something so glorious I just had to share it here. Isn’t it just luscious when our eyes are opened to see something so full of wonder that it causes our hearts to skip a beat?

I began to look at the whole thing of our originally being created in His image and likeness, one facet of that being; we can above all of his creation, choose freely what we will.
As the first woman freely chose to be like God cutting humanity off from Life, plummeting us all into an alienated state of being, along comes another woman by the name of Mary, when presented with heavenly facts, realities that defied human reasoning, of her own free will consented to likewise partake of a succulent meal offered to her.

The fruit eaten by the first woman caused us to be alienated from the life of God, but as this young woman likewise freely choose to imbibe of the very words of God delivered to her by the angel Gabriel; the source of eternal and everlasting life was coming into the world through, of all things, a “woman”!

One expression of the word ‘consent’ is as follows, ‘asking permission’, also, ‘harmony’, wow, God asking our permission, specifically Mary’s, and then seeing how through her free will volitional choice, God through his son Jesus was going to establish a harmony that would totally eclipse the spectacular beauty of even the Garden.

“Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, it has not yet fully entered into the heart of man, the things God has prepared for those He loves!”
