What’s Your Name

Life seems to be for most of us one long draining wrestling match, and we’re usually not the one coming out on top.
I wonder if innately built into (within) our frame work there is this lingering, haunting reoccurrence of thought that pricks us, (like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad) that there has to BE something more than just living with all that, that encompasses and then simply dying?

As I have already mentioned in a few other thoughts on my blog, I see all of us being born slaves, prisoners to what I am calling the ‘sin-matrix-imprinting’, and that imprinting expands to become a custom made fit for any and all, regardless of race, creed, color, gender or whatever.
There is no escape from its permeating and corrupting influences. For i.e. some dialog from the movie the Matrix between these two characters, Morpheus and Neo;
Let me tell you why you're here. You're here because you know something. What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but its there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad. It is this feeling that has brought you to me. Do you know what I'm talking about?The Matrix? Do you want to know what it is? The Matrix is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now, in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work... when you go to church... when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth. What truth? That you are a slave, Neo. Like everyone else you were born into bondage. Into a prison that you cannot taste or see or touch. A prison for your mind.

From what I think I am beginning to see in part, is as follows. The only way that the ‘sin-matrix-imprinting’ could be addressed is in a personal head on assault. The scriptures referee to the ‘Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence and the violent ones take it by force’.This violence was fully implemented when the Word became flesh like you and me, and the kicker was, it was not ever fully detected by the father of lies, for had he truly known, he would not have worked to see Jesus the son of man turned over to the killing machine called Rome.

Incognito, what a luscious word that is. Hidden as it were in the womb of a young virgin girl, the incarnation was about to come forth, and in so doing he Jesus, would usher in a way of escape (from our inherited imprinting) heretofore not possible. Wow!
It clearly spells out in the scriptures how, for this purpose the Son of God was manifested (in the flesh), that he might destroy the works of the devil.

At the core of our being, and I want to liken that to our DNA, there was made possible for the first time ever a living connection between God and man by and through the new birth a joining of himself to us, ‘he that is joined to the Lord is ONE spirit’.

Here’s the consternation, the rub that I see. This awareness of even remotely considering any other way (possibility) of looking at life, than which we have grown up believing has to be initiated by God’s spirit, and how He does this is as mysterious as the blowing, moving of the wind. Jesus himself implied those who were not only re-birthed into His family, but operate as God’s sons acted much like the winds movements. For a lack definitive words, lets use this, a whole new operating system has been inserted and the code is inseparable from that new DNA.

No Escape

In the making of bread, you might have all of the right and exact components and yet miss having the key one, yeast. Without this explosive and corruptive ingredient all of your work will be to no avail, the dough will be just that, dough.
Its within the yeast itself that lies this dynamic power to not only cause the bread dough to rise, but define it as in a particular shape.
I liken this, the life of God, to the yeast, something as an external matter brought into (play) the settings of the dough.

I’ve talked about this before in other posts on my blogs, but I want to reemphasize it even more. We were all came into this world as still born, dead in our sins and trespasses, by nature children of wrath, sons of disobedience, cut off from the life of God, alienated from Him.
The spiritual imprinting of sin and its invasive corruption was total in its design. Jesus said, ‘You are of your father the Devil, and when you hear him speak, its simply a matter of agreeing with the inward dynamics of the sin imprinting you were born with, it isn’t an anomaly.

Yesterday in the life of my son, we, my wife and I were seeing into the unseen realms first hand all over again, the real and violent clashes of the Truth exposing the innate lies not only what my son has believed, but all of us!
It talks about the god of this world having blinded the minds (eyes) of those living in this world, preventing them from seeing the Truth.
I see this pointing to the fossilized, fixed, unmovable imprinting that sin and its influence has accomplished in all of humanity.
There is NO way any of us can see outside of this prison we are jailed to; there is NO escape apart from the grace of a loving Father.
As my wife and I had a few moments this morning to reflect and think out loud on some of what I’m sharing here we saw afresh the power our Father has invested in us as His own, giving us first of all a growing experiential learning first hand of what it means to Be loved, and within that reality, learning as he directs to PRAY for ALL men.

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but powerful, designed to assault those things of the sin matrix imprinting and as it were, to breach through their illusionary shackles.

Even in the lives of the ‘saints’ I see this dynamic still very visible, and I’m starting with myself first, then moving out into a much broader vista of observation.It says we have been ‘born again’ not of the will of man or the will of the flesh, but by the word (sperm) of God, and out of that miracle has come a whole new race, a new man as the scriptures put it.

Our DNA as it were has been totally altered, the sin matrix imprinting has been addressed at the core level of our being, and yet, because of our soul, especially our mind that is in the process of coming into alignment with the Truth, will more often than not revert to its former state of imprisonment, and it is this issue I will endeavor to further elucidate upon, later!

Matrix Symbiosis (Hijacked)

I’m elucidating the possibility that we have been wired innately as if in our actual DNA, our spiritual imprinting was to establish a foundation within us for dependency. As a plant is dependent upon water for its existence, so we were created and that amplified much more so in the re-birthing for dependency.

Hidden from all sight deep within us there has been an invasion. When man fell in the garden, there was (imo) a component added to his species that was previously not there. I see it being a metaphysical component attaching itself as a symbiotic leach, and mankind becoming its host. I want to refer to this as the Matrix, and its impetus is the master of deceit and lies Satan himself, who is able to easily transforms himself into an angel of light.
Jesus knew of his hidden workings, He referred to him as the ‘father of lies', and in further conversational intercourse also said, you are of your father the devil.
In contrast for a succinct understanding Jesus speaking to the saints through Paul says; ‘You once were by nature children of wrath, sons of disobedience’.

Because of this insidious hijackers influence, apart from the transformational work of God’s grace, our mind set is fixed like a long lost image of a once alive creature completely fossilized, sometimes expressed as, ‘don’t confuse me with the facts, my mind is made up.’
Within that mindset I see our view of Jesus sprouting, as one who has to be NICE, meek and mild not hurting a child, nonsense! Let’s explore nice in context of the donkey we want to pin this delusional tale on. click

Apart from the illumination from within our fixed union with our Father, this insidious virus will stain and permeate our thinking. No one thinks straight when it comes to the matter of truth and reality. Those words are corrupted from any true meaning because of this subversive intruder.

Has the Lion/Lamb of God been reduced to this, a quote from Christianity Today Movies re: the movie The Lion, With and the Wardrobe; ‘An artistically and spiritually safe lion for a spiritually tame (sub) culture.’

Like a splinter in my mind there is this relentless, persistent nagging that seems to be drawing me ever deeper into what Paul called God’s hidden wisdom the Mystery Gospel of good news.Please hear me on this, in no way am I referring to what happened in the early centuries of the church of the virus called Gnosticism, whereby one was elevated to a much greater spiritual and intellectual status based upon an encrypted code only available through some so called enlightened guru.

The ‘Mystery of Godliness’ will always be that, but within this mystery Father God himself is disclosing the hidden secret things with a passion to those foolish enough to trust Him in this redemptive restoration as he applies with great relish, the caustic power of Grace.

The Mystery of Divine Imprinting

"I personally feel that what we see in the institution of church is very much the same. The institution is like a pregnant mother whose body refuses to go into labor and give birth. It reminds me of a woman who adores being pregnant, but despises parenthood. When people are not allowed to exit the system of church and enter into life apart from that system, they begin to suffer the dangers of post-term birth affects." In regards to these thoughts, I see the institution being but a midwife and its sole purpose is assisting in the facilitating of that which Father God is totally responsible for, the miracle of siring the re-birthing!

Unfortunately, the midwife (surrogate parent-mother/father) position has vied (lusted) for the role that only one can effectually fulfill, a.k.a., the Father of our spirit, God himself. As a matter of fact I see little difference in motive or spirit from that which invaded Lucifer's heart; (And you said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit upon the mount of assembly in the uttermost north.) I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.)

You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, the carnelian, topaz, jasper, chrysolite, beryl, onyx, sapphire, carbuncle, and emerald; and your settings and your sockets and engravings were wrought in gold. On the day that you were created they were prepared. You were the anointed cherub that covers with overshadowing [wings], and I set you so. You were upon the holy mountain of God; you walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire [like the paved work of gleaming sapphire stone upon which the God of Israel walked on Mount Sinai]. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created until iniquity and guilt were found in you. The institutional church is but one of countless means and ways of facilitating the Father's re-birthing and to bring us much further into his higher purposes.

'NOW WHAT I mean is that as long as the inheritor (heir) is a child and under age, he does not differ from a slave, although he is the master of all the estate; But he is under guardians and administrators or trustees until the date fixed by his father. So we [Jewish Christians] also, when we were minors, were kept like slaves under [the rules of the Hebrew ritual and subject to] the elementary teachings of a system of external observations and regulations.'

'After all, though you should have ten thousand teachers (guides to direct you) in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers. For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the glad tidings (the Gospel).'

Darin goes on to say; "It is absolutely necessary though, that there be a graduation from that time into another phase of life."

The mystifying magic of imprinting is a wonder to behold, for example: say for whatever reasons the parent bird (goose) has been either killed or abandoned her eggs, when those eggs hatch - if the first thing the goslings see is a dog, cat or person, the baby birds will instinctively see that object as their leader-mother.

In not recognizing or listening to the voice of our Father within our spirit, we will be conformed by the world’s deceitfulness, squeezing us into its mold, why? Because there are NO vacuums. The only other option is to BE renewed in the spirit of our mind, the true conforming (transformational) is seen in the Father bringing us lovingly into His higher purposes; Those who He foreknew, he predestined them to BE conformed into the likeness and image of his only begotten Son.It is NOT enough that He is in us, but he is to BE fully formed IN us as well.

Is it any wonder the real Father-Son appears to be lost in the hazy subterfuge of religious garb manufactured by the masterminds of Vogue fig-leaf designer, one size fits all?
There is an awakening of unfathomable proportion and its source, its origin is entrenched in the heart of the Father clearly expressed through the words of the Son; 'And I will build My church, and the gates of hell will NOT prevent its appearing'!

This term has really sparked my radar, so to speak.

It is common knowledge that, particularly as it pertains to birds, the first thing they see upon hatching is who/what they perceive to be their parents. Sometimes it’s an animal; more often it’s a human being. More on that follows, but first:

I teach Kindergarten. When I ask my little boys what they want to be when they grow up, they most often reply they want to be a super-hero. It truly is a phenomenon. So, I began to wonder…why is it that little boys, in particular, are so irresistibly drawn to the super-hero, the good guy who defeats the bad guys, who rescues the helpless or defends the downtrodden, who swoops in to save the day? My boys’ heroes include Superman, Batman and Spiderman, and I thought, isn’t that a shame? They usually know absolutely NOTHING about Jesus, the only real, true super-hero. I mean, what better super-hero could there be than the one who spoke the world into existence, who hurled the planets into outer space – who defied death – who can walk through walls unscathed? The bible states that the knowledge of the existence of God has always been in people’s hearts. So, could it be that IT WAS GOD HIMSELF who has put that insatiable desire in the hearts of little boys to emulate, to want to model themselves after, to want to be just like…their only one true Father, the original Super-Hero?

Yet, when all of us are born into this fallen world, is it God’s face we first see? No. We quickly become imprinted into becoming something that we’re not, something twisted, and it often takes a lifetime to find our way back and to discover the truth about our parenthood. In the meantime, we stumble around in an alien world, fearful of venturing outside its polite, acceptable societal confines, dumbing ourselves down in the process.

It seems that God is always trying to communicate with us in one form or another, particularly as it pertains to nature. Take the real-life story of ‘Fly Away Home’, the story of a Canadian inventor who became the imprinted father-figure to baby Canada geese. Here’s the Wikipedia synopsis:

The film was loosely based on the real-life experiences of Bill Lishman, a Canadian inventor, artist, and ultralight aircraft hobbyist. During the late 1980s and early 1990s, Lishman openly wondered if geese and similar birds could be taught new migration patterns by following ultralight aircraft onto which they had been imprinted. In 1993, after several years of logistical and bureaucratic setbacks, Lishman successfully led a flock of Canada Geese on a winter migration from Ontario, Canada to Northern Virginia, U.S.A. Of the 16 birds that participated in the migration, 13 returned to Ontario the following year – entirely on their own.

So getting back to my question: was it God who put the longing into every little boy’s heart to aspire to be (for lack of a better term) just like the one and only genuine Super-Hero – God himself? I’m inclined to think so! And could it be that He can work through any medium to entice us to seek Him? For example, I’m sure comic book writers would be astonished to entertain the thought that perhaps God has infiltrated their craft. For instance, did you know that:
Superman (actually a survivor of a blast that destroyed his home planet) was raised on earth from infancy by John and Martha Kent, a devout Christian couple who raised him according to their faith?
That Superman, who epitomized everything good, brave and noble, was actually killed off in the nineties while trying to defeat the evil monster “Doomsday”?
That after his apparent earthly death, he defeated demonic powers which were trying to cast him into hell, and in the process remembered his true identity?
That when Lois Lane went to check on Superman’s casket to see for herself that he was really dead…that it was empty?
That Superman came back to life but wasn’t recognized by many until much later, and that his regenesis in the comic book was entitled ‘Born Again’?

Interesting, huh?

Getting back to “Fly Away Home”: although the hatchlings perceived that their parent was Bill Lishman, and emulated and copied his human ways, he was able to RE-imprint them because in their hearts, they discovered they really were geese! When they began to perceive it, they began to act like it. So it is with us. Are we willing to cast aside the imprinting that has kept us earth-bound all our lives to discover our true identity?
