"The Father allows us the ability to make mistakes, such as focusing on the flesh, because this is the operation of free will. God is not concerned about our errors in focus. God’s lack of concern is not due to permissiveness or a lack of caring. The Father does not worry about our mistakes because of His knowledge that these errors are transitory. God’s whole confidence is in Christ and not in our ability to DO right. The Father knows that ultimately the life of Christ in us is more powerful than and pull of the flesh.”
